✿ Springtime in The Inner Forest ✿
Projects are in Bloom!
Dear Inner Forest wanderers,
To celebrate the Equinox, I wanted to bring you prints of one of my latest drawings, titled The Forgotten Cage.
One day, while walking through the forest recently, I saw a cage hanging from the branch of an old tree. Perhaps, long ago, its owner decided to set their caged bird free and left the cage in the forest, just in case the bird felt homesick.
I can’t know if this actually happened, but what I did see was a cage completely rusted and overtaken by ivy and other plants. It seemed to me like the perfect place for flowers to grow, and like to think that perhaps they chose to use the cage as their hidden meeting place.
Who knows all that those little creatures have to decide about our fate!
🌿 A look under the Canopy
This year, I’ve embarked on collaborating with various galleries across four continents, which is incredibly exciting and is keeping me very busy! Luckily, I have no shortage of ideas, though I could definitely use a few extra hands to get everything done… The first one will be in Shanghai, and I'll be able to show you more in May!
Here’s a sneak peek at what I’ve been working on lately:

🐞 The Frolic
Sometimes I feel playful. That’s why I’ve decided that from time to time, I’ll invite you to play with me and my creatures. Sometimes special giveaways will take place, and sometimes, dark riddles will be the game.
This time, and just for you, my subscribers, I bring you a riddle. And whoever is first to solve it will receive a Surprise Original Drawing!
To participate, the rules are as follows:
You will need to email me your answer with 'Riddle' as the subject, and each of you will have only one chance. I won’t be answering these emails, since I will reveal the answer and the winner -if there is one- in my next Newsletter, at the beginning of April. You have until then, Good luck!
Though it is a pity, I'm rarely liked;
Few understand my ancient plight.
My home is life, both vast and strong,
From deep waters to the righteous one.
No children I bear, though I am a great womb;
Known by the wise and all birds in this world.
Who am I?
🐇 What’s in the Burrow?
As you already know, the Burrow is where you can sometimes find little surprises...
This month’s inhabitants of the Burrow are my articulated paper birds. To celebrate the Equinox, they’ve gathered here and decided to be 50% off! There are just a few left, and you can check them out here:

I hope you enjoyed this letter from the Inner Forest, more is to come Very Soon - in April!
Much Love,
𝓜.
